Matthew Rakola

Matthew Rakola is a DC based photographer who's been crushing the game for years. Known for capturing “real people, doing real things,” creatives know they can rely on him to acclimate to any job at hand. Lately, he’s been keeping busy with ongoing corporate, education and portrait assignments for institutions and trade publications of all kinds. He specializes in making regular folks feel comfortable in front of the camera. When he's not behind the lens, you can usually find him and his wife chasing their two young sons around. Recent projects include a cover shoot for I3 magazine, corporate work for Google and a new book for Nat Geo kids.
